Congratulations to Alessia Vignoli who received the prestigious "Gastone De Santis" Prize

During the annual Congress of the Division of Chemistry of Biological Systems (DCSB) of the Italian Chemical Society, currently taking place in Palermo, Dr. Alessia Vignoli was officially awarded the prestigious "Gastone De Santis" Prize (2026 Edition).

Promoted by the DCSB in collaboration with Italfarmaco S.p.A., the award is dedicated to outstanding researchers under 40 who have distinguished themselves in the field of Chemistry of Biological Systems.

Dr. Vignoli was awarded the prize with the following official motivation:

"For studies on nuclear magnetic resonance-based metabolomics and their translational impact in biomedical applications and precision medicine."
