Vito Calderone obtained his master degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Turin in 1992 and the PhD in Protein Chemistry at the University of Turin in 1997. He has spent a part of his PhD in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Bath. Afterwards he has been postdoc at IGBMC in Strasburg from 1997 to 1999. Then postdoc at the University of Padua from 1999 to 2002, at the University of Siena from 2002 to 2006 and at CERM (University of Florence) from 2006 to 2012. He is assistant professor at the University of Florence since 2012.
