Roberta Pierattelli graduated in Chemistry at the University of Florence (Italy) and received a PhD in Chemistry at the same university in 1995. After a postdoctoral year at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Southampton (United Kingdom), she was appointed as a Researcher at the University of Florence, where she became Associate Professor of Chemistry and, since 2017, Full Professor of Chemistry. Her research interests are mainly related to applications of NMR spectroscopy to the study of the structure and function of proteins and their interactions.
